“We stumble not because the goal is out of reach, but rather because of unexpected obstacles and setbacks that get in our way.”

Personal obstacles are related to our psychology, behaviour, and state-of-mind which we have mostly faced in teenage. The reason these obstacles prevent us from moving forward comes down to how we choose to interpret events and circumstances, and the subsequent thoughts we choose to dwell upon. During my higher secondary school I have faced many emotional and medical problems because of being away from the home for the first time, getting into bad hostel, having toxic people around me and suffering through the worst case of migraine.

I thought about the history about these obstacles like how long has the obstacle been in my path? What behaviours or negative thoughts keep the obstacle alive, or prevent me from working through it? Also thought about how to approach them. Asked myself how I can control these obstacles. Analysed interpersonal issues. I took help of my good friends and made active plan and tracked my progress. I started visualising my goals which became helpful for my motivation.
