My life journey, I believe, is interesting but more importantly gives a perspective into what makes me tick. On 2nd July 2018, I was declared clear from chronic lipid profile of 8 years. At the risk of sounding clichéd, I gained a completely new perspective of life. It wasn’t the hopeless optimism of “everything will be alright” but that of confidence and faith in my abilities to do something for myself.
I am a ridiculously enthusiastic and passionate learner. My love for mathematics drove me to pursue engineering, I developed a keen analytical mindset about problem solving and understood importance of numbers. This motivated me to be the only student among a class of 200, to submit a “business solution” project, interning at one of India’s best start-up. Being a professional since more than 4 years, I got hands-on experience across sales, recruitment and HR domains.
I have always found time for self-development and my interests. To fulfil my social science intrigue, I pursued a master’s in economics and to fulfil my multi-lingual desire, I cleared A1 level for French. I have also run half-marathon and multiple 10Ks for they give me a very different positivity and physical challenge.
It is not by accident that I started working in the HR domain and learnt from experiences of people I met, which helped me successfully navigate through life. As a benefits specialist, I have a clear view on the importance of the human factor for a successful organisation. I want TISS to be a catalyst in understanding how to excel my organisation and me in this VUCA world.
