The Aditya Birla Group has its presence in various business sectors and domains. With Pantaloons in Fashion, Idea in Telecom, Ultratech in Cements and Hindalco in Metal Industries and many more businesses, the Aditya Birla group has expanded its presence in various sectors of the country.
The business of Aditya Birla Group which generated the most impact in my life was Idea Cellular. I remember during my 12th Boards preparation, my father gifted me a new phone to help me with my studies. The “What an Idea Sirji” ads were running on TV starring Abhishek Bachan which were a hit at that time and also made me choose Idea as my first sim card. All my doubts, all my studies with my friends, studying new subjects on the internet was all possible at that time because of the fast and reliable network of Idea. One more good news came to me in 2018, when Vodafone my secondary sim card at that time and Idea Cellular entered into a merger to become the biggest telecom operator in India.
Other than the Telecom business, other businesses which have played a big part in my life is the fashion arm of the company. Whenever I have to buy new clothes, I make it a point to go to Infiniti mall in Malad, even though it is 45 mins away from my home as it has the Pantaloons showroom. I really enjoy the shopping experience which I go through in that showroom. Other than this, the work of the Aditya Birla group in the Social Services Sector is very commendable. All of this makes Aditya Birla Group really big in my life.
