As a 90's kid I remember sharing food with my classmates during our lunch break. After a series of classes and lectures, it was the home cooked parathas and sandwiches freshly wrapped in aluminum foil which used to make us joyful instantly. Lately I came to know that the foil, which is used by most of the Indian households to pack food to intact warmth and freshness, is manufactured by Aditya Birla Group. Being a Bengali, I'm quite proud of the fact that Kolkata was the first city in India to introduce metro as an intra-city commute. I feel relieved and safe knowing that Ultra tech cement is being used for the construction of the newer lines. I remember when I bought my first mobile phone, I had chosen Vodaphone as my service provider for its affordable tariff plans and the network coverage it provides. Needless to say, even Vodaphone is a gift of ABG group to us Indians. From the carbon black used in car tyres to the smartphone covers made from Hindalco aluminum, Aditya Birla Group had ensured safety in all aspects. I've always been very choosy and particular when it comes to fashion. Thanks to Aditya Birla Group for bringing the best brands under one roof i.e. Pantaloons. Thanks for making fashion affordable for most of the middle-class Indians who can shop all the latest trends from Pantaloons. While buying apparel for my mom, I always make sure that the fabric is soft and fluid, in short it should have a 'Liva' tag, which is again a part of Aditya Birla Group.

My parents have always taught me to be grateful for everything. If I say I am grateful to ABG for the lifestyle I lead, the food I eat and the travel I make, it won't be an exaggeration.

How you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far.

My life has been a roller-coaster ride having a fair share of highs and lows. Challenges are part of everyday life. They make us stronger and without them life becomes somewhat meaningless because we have nothing to compare the good times. I too had fair amount of challenges to spice up. Watching my dad doing great work, I too wanted to make big in my life and like most of the teenagers the first big leap was to get into one of the premiere engineering colleges. I failed miserably for not being able to secure a seat and the embarrassment lasted for quite some time. But there were some positive aspects in it. I got the opportunity to explore various other activities during my college. Post my college I worked in TCS for about 42 months but the dream to achieve something big was still there. The dream of entering a premiere university was still deep inside. Thus, during the tenure of my work in TCS I decided to go for MBA. I started to take preparations for CAT. It was difficult to cope up with the work and the studies but the deep desire to be a part of premiere b-school helped me to keep going. Eventually I made to one of the leading b-school of our country. I guess that there were two most important lessons that helped me throughout. First one is to treat challenges like opportunities and the second one is never to give up. Lastly as Dumbledore said, “It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities”.
