It is serving the nation and other 34 countries in viscose staple fibre, metals, cement (largest in India), viscose filament yarn, branded apparel, carbon black chemicals, fertilizers, insulators, financial services, telecom, BPO and IT services. Apparel brands like Louis Philippe, Allen Solly, Van Heusen, Peter England and People are a few of our all-time favorite brands which provide us not only stylish but comfortable clothing experience. Ted baker and Ralph Lauren are brands associated with ABG that don’t need any introduction. It because of ABG that we could welcome these brands in our country. ABG, most famous for its contribution in the cement industry has ULTRATECH cement that helps us not just build our dream house but also ensure that our homes are safe enough for us by providing quality strength. ABG has contributed into making digital India by launching their BHIM ABPB payment banks app which helps us transfer money easily from anywhere, easy and secure. My personal all-time favorite brand from ABG is Forever 21, which provides an altogether new experience in clothing. ABG takes care of our little and everyday requirements like FRESHWRAPP and FRESHPAKK aluminum foils to keep the food fresh. ABG has not only provided us with lavish lifestyle but also focused on the needs of almost every section of the society like Grasim Industries Limited, which is the flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group started as a textiles manufacturer in India in 1947. Today, it is a leading global player in VSF and the largest chemicals player in India. So, we can see that ABG has affected and helped us by making our lives easier in all the ways possible.
PART B
Living a life full of challenges and overcoming them is what excited me and motivates me to work even more. We start facing challenges from the very early stages of our life as our learning to walk, talk, write and grow in the best direction possible. Stating an example from my life, we had the Annual cultural fest of our college in March and the weather got bad unexpectedly, so it was a haphazard situation to manage such a situation with such a big crowd. On top of it, we had managed to call a renowned singer to perform on our star night. We quickly acted on the situation and firstly managed to get the crowd inside and then met the team, i.e. the organizing members for the fest. We called that singer and told him about the plan. Luckily, he agreed to perform in the auditorium of our college and the crowd was satisfied that we could manage to get the show started and we got good feedbacks for the team as managing such a big crowd was a hard task.
From this experience, I learned how to quickly make efficient and informed decisions which are in favor of the best of everyone and I came to know about myself that I was capable of handling such a situation and that I can be really helpful to my team and my organization. Learning from past experienced and implementing them when required to overcome difficult situations is very important in one’s life. Nothing can teach us better than the lessons we learn from experience.
