"In order to be Successful, You have to be different ". These words go hand in hand with the growth of one of INDIA'S most popular and trusted Brands, Aditya Birla Group. It's an India based Conglomerate spread across the world with in excess of 1.2Lakh employees and carrying out operations  in 13 different Industry Segments.

I got the first chance of experiencing ABG's products and services with a retail store "MORE". I live in a small town in Andhra Pradesh where going to a vegetable market or a Grocery Store was like an organised event at the start of every month. It used to take a whole day for any person to purchase goods for his/her household. But, that's a story before MORE's arrival. It was the first and only Store till date where you can shop with utmost comfort and the only store where each and every item can be found irrespective of the Brand and the prices are also very attractive with a minimum of 5% Discount on MRP for each and every product. MORE has changed the way people look at shopping for household needs and it continues to be the TREND SETTER in the Retail Industry.

I'd be very surprised if one says that I've used only one of the products /services offered by the "Aditya Birla Group". There's very little chance that it'll happen, because ABG is into many sectors and you'd be tempted to try out all of them. This is what happened m my case too.

"IDEA", The  Brand which set the stage on fire as far as Telecom Industry is concerned. It was one of the first service providers in India to dish out 4G for public use, and it created a Giant Wave around the country. Fortunately, I was part of millions who subscribed to IDEA's Telecom services. It changed the face of 4G connectivity with services spread across the lengths and breadths of our country. It gave internet access to more than 80 million users around the Country. .

In this way, ABG continues to raise the bar as far as Customer Satisfaction is concerned.

"Those things which come EASY go EASY". This is the fact of life that everyone should and will agree at some point in their lives. The first and the most Important thing that everyone should know is "Nothing comes EASY", You'll get what you Deserve. Problems are part of everyone's life, but those who overcome those and stay strong are the ones who succeed.

 I am from a family where passing out of 10th Grade was considered as a lifetime achievement. Such was the position of my family that no one knew how to even write in any language. With this I had a mountain to climb as far as Education is concerned. Everyone had their hopes pinned on me to go all the way in life. Initially I didn't bother about such things, But As I grew, I was starting to feel the heat of those expectations and I had no other way. I was convinced to persuade Chartered Accountancy course which I had no idea about. It, in the years to come became a big obstacle for me as I had no interest in continuing it.

One fine Saturday morning, I decided to confess to my parents that I'm not at all interested in continuing  CA. I did confess and what continued next was a heated Argument wherein I somehow convinced my family to be in consensus with me. The next big challenge in front of me was "WHAT NEXT". I explored all the possible fields and finally came to a conclusion that an MBA  in HR management would perfectly suit my personality and Skill set, as I'm from Commerce background and I'm very good at managing people. Finally I'm here at IIM RANCHI.
