Me and my father’s wardrobe consists mostly of Louis Philippe, Van Heusen,Allen Solly, shirts and pants, our new house had UltraTech cement used for construction, whenever I would go shopping in a mall, I would always visit a Pantaloons shop. Not to mention the products like aluminium, copper, VSF, carbon black, etc which all go into a host of products/services which are directly or indirectly consumed every day by all of us.The financial service solutions of this group are challenging established banks and established foreign entities with their excellent market gauge.Now with its merger with Idea, it has become the largest mobile service provider in India. Not only this, ABG gives back a lot to the society like the de-addiction programmes and dowry-less marriage. The group has built a strong image of being a caring corporate citizen and thus, it has struck a chord with people of all socio-economic groups with initiatives in the areas of education (Aditya Bal Vidya Mandirs, Balwadis for elementary education), livelihood (4,500 self-help groups created with an overall view to empower women, partnership with industrial training institutes, vocational training through Aditya Birla Rural Technology Parks, watershed development), social change (dowry-less marriage, widow remarriage, de-addiction programmes), Aditya Birla CSR Centre of Excellence and Aditya Birla Centre for Community Initiatives and Rural Development and performance management (developing plans for the development of the marginalized).
