Growing up, I was considered to be one of the brighter students. I usually scored good grades during high school, and so my parents, although they never put pressure on me, but had high hopes for me to score good grades. When I was in higher secondary, I got in company with some of the friends who were not so focused towards their career and so their company started to affect on my results. In the board exams, I scored below expectations. Now I had to settle for less then the best of colleges for my engineering, but then I made a promise to myself that I will not let the same thing happen again. Then after getting into engineering college, I selected the right friends who could push me for excellence. It was in my graduation year that I actually realized how to learn. Thereafter I scored up to my potential in all of the semester examinations and made my parents proud again. Right after my graduation I got into a technical job and afterwards when I decided to appear for competitive examinations like CAT, there I excelled too. That's how I converted a fall into a flight.
