When devastating earthquake struck Gujarat in 2001 which ravaged flattened houses , my house stood still without damage Thanks to superior best in class building materials used during construction of my house .
In late 1990s as part of brand building and promotional excercise Grasim and Birla White had conducted training programs for supervisors , contractors and various other personnel related to construction industry . Contractor who had built my house also had undergone same program .
The training program helped him enhance his skills and he utilized his skills to build earthquake resistant houses .
The quality of building material and workmanship can be adjudged from fact despite earthquake of Richter scale 7.7my house had not a single crack or structural damage .
I will be always grateful to Grasim Cement and Birla White Putty for saving lives and protecting against property damage .
18 Years have passed since that devastating tragedy my house is no different from that day .It has withstood vagaries of nature due to superior quality construction materials from house of Aditya Birla Group.
