Life does throw up challenges in each phase of your life, and one needs to be bold and confident to ace the difficulties in an efficient manner. I faced one such challenge when I decided to become part of an organization in my college to serve the martyrs of our countries. I became part of this organization in my first year of college when I was excited enough to know the real-world problems, our heroes of the nation along with their family face. We used to talk to families of martyrs and research more and more about the difficulties they have to counter to meet the daily needs of life. During my third year in college, one of the most tragic events in our nation happened “ Uri Attacks,” and we decided to meet 3 out of 19 families of our martyrs. I was holding the responsibility of ensuring all the tasks happen in a place, and we can complete our project with pride and responsibility. We embarked this journey by looking for the funds since we wanted to help them emotionally as well as financially. We started to collect funds first in my college, then eventually spreading the objective of our mission to various other colleges in Jaipur. A major portion of our funds came from The Golden temple when we decided to request funds from people coming in the temple. People were more than willing to help, and this made me realize that our country still hasn’t lost its compassion and respect for each other. Finally, we were able to collect around ₹70,000 and completed our mission in with deep respect for the real heroes of our nation.
