Aditya Birla has always been an integral part of my life. Whether it was the house that my father made, or the telephone network we used, or the cloths that we used to wear, or the insurance I was covered in, and many more. Aditya Birla Group has always been there. I was aware of how big the group is, the wide range of industries they operated. From mining to telecom, from textile to e-commerce, they've got everything to serve.
But greatest impact the Aditya Birla Group had on me was when I was working in my last firm. I was working as a Relationship Manager for an in Insurance Company for Corporate Vertical for Sales of Group Insurance. I had to drive business and take relationship forward with Corporate Insurance Brokers. I used to handle the relationship for Aditya Birla Insurance Brokers LTD. (ABIBL). I got to work closely with them on various proposals and formulated winning strategies. We also worked on various fresh proposals which were new to market and supported them with new products. Also we did a lot of IT integration and customization with them as per the requirements of various clients.
In all these I got the opportunity to meet the senior leadership team of ABIBL for various proposals. I got an opportunity to know the group better. During all this time of close and warm relationship, I realized I genuinely started loving to work with ABIBL. The company offered a great work culture and had it's biggest strength as it's people. The company was super aggressive in market but simultaneously respected it's people. The workplace was very friendly. Pople were very warm and welcoming to me. I used to take pride in working with them. While working with them I was able to get the business for few of the group companies as well, and understand group better.
I realized that how much the group matters, this one should learn from Aditya Birla Group. People used to take a huge pride in working for ABG. I was very touched by the love that I received from ABIBL. If I were to list down what all things that I miss about my job after joining MBA, going to ABIBL office and having tea with my people(ABIBL Team), in their cafeteria would definitely be on the top.
