Part A
During my teen I have been fascinated towards Allen Solly apparels. Whenever I go for purchasing, the section of Allen Solly always attracts me. At first, I was not really interested in brands. But, when I first got attracted towards Allen Solly, I started to find a personal touch with the brand and also started to look for new brands like Peter England, Van Heusen and Louis Philippe.
I have not personally been with the construction sector, but I have heard about the quality of the cement.
The first network I used was Idea. I was impressed by the network strength and the strategic planning of the idea network. The pricing strategy was looked upon by many competitors and Idea was also successful in capturing a good market.
Part B
The biggest challenge I overcame was entering into IT sector from a Mechanical Engineering Background. I was interested in Mechanical and so completed my Mechanical degree in Tamil Nadu. As majority of the Indian engineers, I had to settle into IT as there was much of unemployment situation in India for the engineers. The only sector welcomed the engineers irrespective of the engineering discipline was the IT sector.
I started working in Chainsys India Pvt Ltd which has its core in ERP. Initial stages of the training was quite difficult. But as I have always believed, ‘Creating interest in what you do, will make it more easy’. Months passed by and getting into projects was difficult for me, as I faced a number of problems which included having no prior experience in IT and being a fresher. But I made it very clear to make me efficient enough to get into a project and made it possible in a year of time and made good impressions to everyone in the office and to the clients.
I earned the respect of everyone at the end of my first project which was successful.
