Are you proud of me?-TAPMI

My only ambition up till now has been to make my parents proud of me in every way possible. Everything I do and everything that I have achieved in my life has been to make my parents proud of me.

I was sent to a boarding school in standard 5. The initial months were really difficult as I spent them crying and feeling homesick. Then one day I spoke to my mother on the phone and she told me that it was important for me to hold strong and study and adapt to the boarding school. She told me that if I did so she would be proud of me and I did so without a question. I spend the six years in that boarding school and passed the boards exam with a 91%.

Then I moved to college for my under-grad degree. I did my graduation in BBA(H). It was the initial months of the course, it was 8 am and the occasion of Mother’s Day. I asked my mother what she wanted for a gift, she told me that she needed nothing but for me to top all the semesters of my graduation, that would make her proud and so I did. I topped all the semesters in my college and got a silver medal in my graduation.

Now I am in TAPMI pursuing my MBA degree in HR. Whenever I talk to my mother, she says me that nothing would make her more happy than to see her son get a good job with a good salary at a good company. And I am working really hard to make my mother proud once again.
