Tom Riddle (Voldemort) Antagonist in the Harry Potter series, he terrorizes the reader many times. He has had a disturbing past. He was raised in an orphanage. His leadership style might not connote any positive meaning. Nevertheless, he was able to lead death eaters. This shows that he did possess leadership qualities. He used it for the wrong purposes.
XLRI - Xavier School of Management, the premier B-School in India in association with RPG Enterprises hosted one of its biggest events of the year ‘Synergy 2014’ – The 1th Edition of its National Annual Business Conclave on November 6 and 7 that brought together celebrated industry leaders, academicians and students on a common platform.
“With the beginning of a new chapter at DSE, my journey of self-improvement continues. Getting good news on the very first day about the conversion from MIB to MBA-IB was overwhelming. Being here brings some familiar feelings which tell me that it is going to be a remarkable and memorable part of my journey. Thanks to those ice-breaking sessions, I have met a lot of people and enjoyed doing tasks with them. It’s been only two weeks and I have made very good friends here. I am happy to find that everybody has got a unique quality. Lot of things to learn and an opportunity ground to work. Going through the hectic schedule of classes, induction and selection processes of various committees and cells was filled with mixed emotions of excitement and jitters. But hats off to seniors for their support and helping us to kick start our journey at DSE.
Pioneered by companies such as Heinz and Quaker Oats, the process of branding emerged as a way to enhance consumer perception of mass-produced goods. Brands added a human element to the product – people could put their trust in the brand itself. Today, brands have transformed the process of marketing into one of perception building. Image is everything. Consumers make purchase decisions based on the brand rather than the reality of the product. Perfectly good products can fail as a result of bad branding. While this means brands can become more valuable than their physical assets, it also means they can lose this value overnight. Perception is an ephemeral concept. Failing brands usually commit one or more of the mistakes that have come to be known as the 7 deadly sins of branding.
