IIM Kozhikode Wins Battle Of The South - Sangram 2017

On the theme of "Go the Distance", IIM K actually travelled the distance to the shinning Champion's Trophy and made sure it stayed in God's Own Abode. The Queen of IIMs clean swept others in almost all games, by grabbing a spot in all the finals taking place. The final medal tally crowned IIM K as undefeated champions with 11 medals where IIM B, IIM T and IIM V could only grab 8, 1 and 1 gold respectively.

The Kontingent from IIM K came out with flying colours by nailing every sport amidst magnificent support and "traditional IIM K cheering" from the home audience. Sangram not only witnessed an amazing play on the court but the supporters were seen adopting creative methods to support their team off the court too. IIM K's game and cheering made competitors silent several times.

The Queen of IIMs, proved that how Beauty can become the Beast when the time comes. The Kontingent gulped down the competing teams like a high on adrenaline giant not in a mood to give up on the championship this time. IIM Trichy went on to give a great performance too by defeating IIM Bangalore in games like Basketball, Hockey and Football etc. Sangram 2017 spoke how the enthusiasm to play and win overcomes all the infrastructural limitations.

The Sports Committee IIM Kozhikode worked tirelessly in ensuring Sangram 2017 was a massive success. The amount of effort put in was evident right from selection of teams to facilitating practice sessions to the launch with a mesmerizing laser show to the closing ceremony with the breathtaking fireworks.

IIM K ensured that the trophy didn't leave God's Own Kampus until the teams meet again next year to battle it out for being the King of the South again!
