The fresh and positive vibes that you get staying on this campus cannot be explained in words. The calmness around and the peaceful surroundings help us to focus better in all that we do, from academics to competitions to personal development. And it’s not just the scenic beauty that I’m talking about, it’s the people and their culture too which makes you realize that the world can still be a better place. The Khasi people inside as well as outside the campus are so down to earth that you will definitely fall in love with them and their culture. These people make sure that no harm is done to their ecosystem and the beauty of the North East sustains forever.
Sustainability is not just a subject in our curriculum but is actively practised by each one of us. To make the participants well aware of the value of sustainability and the beauty of mother nature, the college also organizes a sustainability trek each year for the incoming batch at the beginning of the academic year itself. Thus, these values are imbibed in us from the very beginning and practised thoroughly through the two years of our MBA program.
I would like to end this article by simply telling you all that even now, while I’m writing about the beauty of my campus, I’m enjoying the sunshine in this mildly cold weather, and right after I’m done finishing this I’m going to go back and capture today as a return ticket to the moment otherwise gone.

Working for the Aditya Birla Group has always been my dream. However, the ABG Company that I would love to work for is Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited. Being marketing as well as a fashion enthusiast (I am an aspiring fashion blogger on Instagram), I believe that I would be able to understand the consumer needs and changing fashion dynamics well since this is something I follow passionately. Adding to this, the marketing knowledge that I’ve gained over the course of the MBA program, as a member of the Marketing Club of IIM Shillong and while working with the brand team of Britannia Industries Limited during my summer internship will help me understand, manage and grow the fashion brands very well. Hence, this makes ABGFRL my dream company to work with.
