I, Kawaljeet Kaur, from Delhi, joined IIM Udaipur, one of the fastest growing B-School in India, in June 2017. I have studied in a government school all my life and understand the struggle a girl faces in a middle-class family. So I decided to introduce some of the crazy girls of the campus who’re fighting their way in this society. Out of all the amazing people I have met so far in this journey, I would like to introduce few warriors from Cluster 6 of IIM Udaipur - The one ruled by the women of the campus.

Pooja Rathi – My friend, Pooja, who hails from Delhi, is a mother of one and currently, the Women representative of the council of student affairs. After her marriage, she decided to opt for MBA and cleared CAT for admission in IIM Udaipur for 2016 Batch. But because she was bearing a child at that time, she waited for one more year and joined in 2017. She often gives all the credits to her family for the support to pursue her dreams.

Shalu – My another friend, Shalu, is from a very small village in Haryana. She has studied in a government school of Haryana, in Hindi medium. But, with her dedication and willpower, she completed B.tech from NIT Kurukshetra. She got married later on. One of the major challenges she faced was preparing for CAT after marriage. Yet she worked hard to reach IIM Udaipur and has been fighting the odds with her true spirit.

Shreya -  Shreya is another warrior in the campus. She is differently abled in many of her capabilities. She has a dual degree in psychology, and she got the ‘most courageous’ award at her MA farewell. She is hard working and so positive, despite the eye condition. She understands the human behaviour and mind by observation. She’s so honest and does not tolerate a weak value system.

Vaishali - This girl is from Haryana and her interests makes her different from others. After getting her graduation done from SRCC, University of Delhi, She started learning Korean language out of her curiosity to know about Korean culture. She knows the difference between feminism and female chauvinism and hence she is a real inspiration to girls who are fighting for their equal rights in the society. She is a culture-oriented person and love exploring different cultures.

Which company of Aditya Birla Group would I like to work in and why?

The company of Aditya Birla Group in which I would like to work is Aditya Birla Capital. The job roles in verticals like asset management would encourage me the most as I am interested in statistics and analytics and I have also cleared ACET and CT-3, exams of actuarial science. Further, I also have a keen interest in subjects of finance like Corporate Valuation and Banking and Financial Services. I think that I would be able to leverage my knowledge in this field and learn through experiences if given a chance to work in Aditya Birla Group.
