"Often what feels like the end of the world is really a pathway to far better place” – Karen Salmansohn. This quote has always inspired me to fight my challenges. It was my 12th board exams and my aspiration to hit high in engineering entrance exams and find a seat in premier institute like IITs for engineering. But thing soften don’t turn out as planned. Just before my board exams, a month to remain I fell sick. Upon diagnosis I came to know that I had caught jaundice and malaria at the same time. I was down to bed and got really nervous whether I could write my board papers. But it was my mother’s support and strength that gave me confidence to write my exams. She stayed with me in my small PG rooms in Ranchi to cook boiled foods that was prescribed to me. Her struggles made me feel bad for a while but I could gather my energy to work hard and perform well in my exams inspite of the challenges. I remember I took multiple breaks in one of my papers as I was getting vomiting during the paper. I somehow completed the exams and passed my exams with decent marks in all papers. Unfortunately, I could not join engineering as doctors didn’t allowed me to pursue so soon. I stayed back one year and reappeared for entrance next year and could manage clear AIEEE. Remembering of all that now gives me all the more confidence to fight my challenges and succeed.
