A. Aditya Birla Group was founded in 1857 by Seth Narayan Birla. It is an Indian multinational conglomerate having its presence in 35 countries with over 120K employees. A US$44.3 billion corporation, Aditya Birla is active in 14 industry sectors and has achieved global and national leadership in several businesses.
Pantaloons, a brand of Aditya Birla group has been a major shop store for me. Every time I want to shop various kinds of clothes, Pantaloons is the place for me as I am able to look and search for western casuals, traditional clothes, formal clothes, comfortable nightwear and what not. The list is endless. Along with the variety of clothes, the price at which they are being offered is also very economical, giving me a greater incentive to buy. The customer service which is provided at each store is really appreciable as they direct me and even suggest me what kind of clothes and other accessories would suit me. Any Pantaloons store you visit, the service they offer remains consistent which is a huge plus point encouraging me to visit the store again and again. Apart from me, whenever I go along with my mother, we both end up buying as we tend to get attracted to some product. Also, recently the store has changed its outlook making it more convenient for consumers like me to get a better experience. My father and my elder brother go to Van Huesen to buy high quality formal clothes for office and marriages and other specific occasions.
B. Life is not a cakewalk and is full of challenges that one has to face and successfully overcome. The similar has been my case and life has thrown constant challenges at me. When I was very young, I had a fear of speaking in front of a large audience and for that matter even interviews. But in this new era, I would not have survived without this skill. Due to this I lost admissions into some very elite schools. After facing this harsh reality, with the constant support of my parents, I managed to overcome it and also got into one of the good schools. Another big challenge that came to my life was when I came to Delhi to pursue my under graduation. Delhi was totally a new place for me, much faster than my home city and the biggest challenge was living away from my family and close ones. I had an entire set of new responsibilities on my shoulder which were initially difficult to handle. But slowly and gradually, within a period of one month, I got adjusted in the city and also started liking the place and had an amazing three-year stay. Being not resistant to change is one of the biggest learning I got from this experience in my life. When I joined my post-graduation course(M.Com), the study pattern was totally different and the burden of studies was also quite a lot in comparison to my graduation studies but over a course of time I got accustomed to it.
