My grand-mother was bedridden for ten long years and all my childhood I have seen her that way. It is actually a pain to see your loved ones in such a helpless situation. I being a child always tried to take care of her. We could never go out on a family trip or any vacation together because my father preferred to take care of his mother so he always stayed with her at home. In school, every time we were asked to write essay on our summer trip, I always pretended to have one. But then spending all this time with family and watching my father taking care of my grand-mother helped me improve a lot as a person. I have learned a lot from my father, he is my source of inspiration. Facing all these hardship and seeing my closed one suffer at such a tender age helped me become a strong person. Having developed the grit, I can handle the dynamic challenges of the real world.
