The SportsCom fantasy football league competition, a one of a kind event, is being organized for the first time in XIMB on November 16, 2018. The event invites individuals in teams of 3 to compete against each other by becoming virtual managers of a team of professional athletes. The participant teams will be required to come up with their bidding strategy for the live auction drafts and build their dream roster! All "strategy" means is careful preparation, a plan of action at the auction table and the ability to adjust on the fly.
The event will not only test the knowledge of the sporting world and its players but also business acumen as all the managers will start bidding with the same initial virtual budget. Where each athlete comes with a fixed position, each team must meet a fixed distribution of positions with the goal to maximize the overall value of the team.
Preparation is paramount -- the most-prepared managers, the ones who know their desired prices for any player at any moment -- are the ones who will enjoy success.
But it doesn’t end there. These teams will then compete against each other in a FIFA Tournament to determine the ultimate winner.
