The IMB program has been specifically designed for global learning. While you spend 5 terms in Mumbai, you are taught by Bocconi professors who have worked and consulted with global firms. They bring to the table their expertise and experience, along with their current research projects that help students understand the ever-changing landscape of the business world.
With rapid growth in entrepreneurship and startup ecosystems, SDA Bocconi Asia Center also fosters and encourages young business and thought leaders to develop their ideas and interact with professors who have been involved in the entrepreneurship and business strategies globally.
During the first 6 months of the IMB program, your classroom becomes a mix of many cultures. SDA Bocconi’s Asia Center also hosts exchange students from ESSEC and Bocconi Milan Double Degree who learn along with the first year IMB students. You get exposed to Italian, German, French and other nationalities and their perspectives. You experience all of this in a classroom in Mumbai.
During your exchange program, you’ll travel to Italy and study at Bocconi in Milan. You’ll interact with a diverse pool of more than 1600 exchange students from across 80 countries with different cultural backgrounds. This is the perfect playground for cross-cultural interaction and global learning. Your conversations will span from the simple differences in the way business is conducted in these countries to complex ideas that can make a global difference.
Apart from this, your curriculum for the exchange semester also lets you explore many more specializations. You can choose 4 electives from over 70 courses approx that are offered in that term. The available specialization modules include Business Analytics for Decision Making, Banking & Finance, Luxury And Fashion Management, Retail Management, Sales Management, Strategic Management and Management Consulting, Entrepreneurship, Operations Management, Innovation and Technology Management. The exchange program is also aimed at strengthening your communication, working with teams and collaborating on projects, and your interpersonal skills.
When you complete your International Master of Business program with SDA Bocconi Asia Center you’ll walk out with not only with what you’ve learned and experienced in the past two years but you would have built a global network of personal and professional contacts, and you can’t put a tag on that.
