The Biggest Challenge Of My Life - Rajan Sharma, TAPMI

I feel the biggest challenge of life is, to persuade our demons that everything will get fine, even after getting punched from reality, every second.

The fact that I was able to recognize this is because I recently went through an acute case of above-mentioned battle. The beauty of my pain was not because of me giving up to the circumstances and struggle, in pursuit of my goals.

But the fact that life gave me everything I hustled for since years, and took it back in a snap.

Yes, I was hopeless and agonized. Frustrated and helpless. The pain of sliding from the summit to the deepest trough of my life. *The taste of dust.

Anyways, I was restless to do something good but had no clue what to do. My family, as always supported and showered their love, looking at the petty situation of their youngest son. * God bless them infinity.

But, out of my endless mental hustle and restlessness to come out of the traumatic chain of events. I started reading books and doing meaningful certifications on LinkedIn premium and completed a dozen of them in a month. *Was not able to figure out anything else, at that time.

LinkedIn learning is unlocked after we are a premium member, but they offer a free 1-month trial. Experiencing a lack of resources, 1 month is all I had. Hence, had to move on to something else.

So, I joined an internship as a business development executive and had to message 1000 people on social media every day, and a telephone call with people who showed interest, to offer them online digital marketing courses. It gave me a great experience to build an effective sales pitch.

But, didn't like it much. Parallel to all these, I discovered my taste towards writing and I started my personal blog, with the name ' An Observer'. It gave me a path to channelize my pain and agony in a positive way, and present nice thoughts in front of people. *Something I always loved, communicating with people.

Then, I started doing it professionally for business across the world. And, the rest is history. I worked as a Brand Communication Strategist with more than 30 international clients, spreading across every continent on this globe. *Excluding the polar regions, of course. :)

Today, I introduce businesses to the world across multiple continents. I weave emotions of the founders to their business and product and take it in front of their customers. It is awesome, not in terms of money, but the learning. Every new project exposed me to something I never knew before. *And, I just love it!

I feel that the thing which kept me going at that terrible time was the feeling, that failures just put us in a different world. We are the same, we are equally competent and good, as we were. When we were at the summit of our life.

Hence, if we can do it once, we can definitely do it again, and with the new lessons learned, maybe better this time. All this sounds very well after the bad time is gone. But, when we are living every long second of that bad time, the hardest challenge is to stay motivated every day, and just keep going.

I learned that life is about ' Giving our best, hoping the best, and leaving the rest.'

Thank you!

Note: I didn't express a lot about the details of my bad time, simply because, I don't like narrating sad stories. :)
