A few days back I came across Aditya Birla Group’s “Big in your Life” campaign. It made me realise that so many things around me are related to Aditya Birla Group. We even have the same names.
The house I live was financed by Aditya Birla Capital and the cement used was Ultra Tech Cement, a subsidiary of Aditya Birla Group. Ultra Tech Cement has played a major role in so many huge construction projects, providing employment to so many people.
Hindalco Aluminium, a global leader in aluminium, recycles over 65 billion cans every year thus enabling sustainable growth. Also the aluminium recycled and produced by the company, is used to make cover glass for smart phones which is a necessity in today’s world. Also Birla Copper provides raw materials for production in trains. As I live far from home, train is how I commute to my home so it’s a lifeline for me.
Nowadays everyone has a Car or a motorcycle .Birla carbon, a global leader in manufacturing and supplying carbon black, helps in making tyres stronger and safer by giving a product of superior quality.
When it comes to Fashion, I love the collection of Pantaloons. Not only are the prices reasonable but the quality and feel of the clothes and accessories is exemplry. Half of my wardrobe collection is from Pantaloons. Also the formals of Louis Philippe are quite comfortable. I have recommended many people Louis Philippe for formals and even the casual range is great.
In the era of being connected to people irrespective of the distances, Idea after the merger with Vodafone is now the largest telecom operator in India and third largest in the world. They have enhanced their user experience as the issues in network coverage have been resolved to a large extent. This has also encouraged newer customers to be a part of Vodafone Idea family. My Father has been a loyal customer of Idea since he bought his first phone. Even I use a Vodafone simcard in my mobile.
Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences is an esteemed institute. Although I could not get admisson into it. My younger brother studies there.
How you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far?
There are no shortcuts in life. To achieve any single thing, one has to be disciplined, sincere and a hardworker. In today's generation smart work is also a necessity with hard work Dreams do come true when you believe in them, but for that you have to first believe in yourself, Self belief is the most necessary quality in a individual.
One story I can share is this
During my Junior college(11th 12th) just like any other guy in our country I decided to study for IITJEE,seeing the competiton I was dumbstruck. Being one of the toppers from my school I thought it would be a cake walk for me. Unfortunately it wasnt it broke my heart when I studied and still could not be the first in my class but you cant give up just like that. For me one of the worst thing in life is when you try very hard, try to give your best but are unable to achieve your goal. You cant give up like that and have to keep moving forward giving all you have, that's when the MAGIC happens. The hardwork pays off,the satisfaction you get cannot be put up in any words. It's just priceless. Even though I could not get into an IIT. I got admission into College of Engineering of Pune, the best college in Maharashtra after IIT Bombay.
As they say
“It's not about how hard you hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward.”
Cheers!
