One of India's largest conglomerates, Aditya Birla Group has had a glorious past, and an unmatchable legacy and is stepping into an exciting journey into the future. What they were two decades ago when they launched their first Aditya Birla logo and what they are today, is phenomenal. It has been truly a transformative journey. They’re over 100+ years strong with businesses that span across metals, fashion, pulp & fibre, and are constantly venturing into new businesses and exploring new technologies.
The group is Indian in their values and global in outlook.
The presence of ABG in my life is huge. Pantaloons has been my favourite in the apparel industry since so long now. Forever 21 and Allen Solly are my go-to brands. Van Heusen has an amazing collection of formal wear.
I also like the fact that slowly and silently, along with the Government, the group is trying to change the face of villages. From abject poverty to meeting the necessities of life — from dependency to freedom — from backwardness to progress — in more ways than one.
There is a palpable difference. Tens of thousands of villagers now seem self-assured, confident and happy at being able to move towards a sustainable livelihood. There is new found dignity among them.
Lastly, I would only like to reiterate what ABG says ‘Big is what big does’.
