Aditya Birla Group which operates in 35 countries around the globe undoubtedly influences a

huge population. Apart from the great number of people it employs it has a direct role on

majority of the products we come across. A wide application in metal, cement, fertilizers, IT

services etc. have been known by all.

ABG has a close connection in my life. To start from the home which I live to the dress that I

wear are all in a way associated with the firm. My childhood memories of our home being

constructed will be incomplete without the Ultra Tech Cement. I feel really grateful that my

father did not compromise with the quality of materials used for construction of our house. This

helped us to survive the disastrous floods in Kerala during the year 2018 without any loss to our

home.

As it is well known that Idea cellular is the commonly used network in Kerala. The thought of a

cell phone is directly connected to the Idea network and its exclusive offers in our state. Also the

amazing advertisement which created a great impact in the hearts of common people have

motivated me and influenced my business strategies. When it comes to fashion and dressing my

parents have always trained me to stick to quality. Worldwide known brands of Peter England,

Allen Solly, Pantaloons and Louis Philippe are among my first preferences and Allen Solly is my

favorite brand. So, it is very clear that ABG plays a vital role in many sections of a common man

and as a MBA aspirant it is my motivation to reach greater heights.

Challenges are a part of a successful life. It is through overcoming these challenges that we

mould a better future and life ahead. Every challenge has a hidden opportunity within itself. It’s

the attitude through which we deal it defines where we stand. According to me challenges shape

our personality.

A lot of challenges have been a part of my life since childhood. Especially while growing up,

during school days overcoming my fears to face public have taught me to grow stronger while

facing challenges. My undergraduate studies also provided me a platform to organize various

events like marathon which have helped me to improve my problem solving skills. I enjoy

handling difficult situations. I focused on building our team which was very diverse which

helped us convert into 3000 participants in our first effort. I could also easily resolved the

internal conflicts in the team. We could also remain composed when we had issues in raising the

funds and finally we could over achieve the final targets. The moment of achievement after

solving many challenging situation gives me satisfaction and fills me with joy.

Even during the startup days as a co-founder the opportunities I incurred during handling various

sections of people ranging from taxi drivers to government officials. All the technical issues

faced with our new product in the market were resolved through extensive research and also trial

and error methods. The legal permissions for the taxi top displays remained a serious challenge

which could be solved through strong perseverance and determination. Challenges are actually

footprints to success. They are the best motivators to a great future with the provided we have a

correct and a positive attitude towards them.
