On my way back home I called her... Hey mom, I did it! Just received an email from TAPMI, I'm officially an MBA student now. Didn't realize that tears of joy were an actual thing up untill that moment.

In retrospect, it feels normal to get good grades and pursue your dreams, but this 2-year journey of getting here is one I’ll remember forever.

Losing my dad at a young age of 5 taught me to be responsible and hardworking. Just like the way these things go, I started helping my uncle and grandfather in the family business since I was 16, as a result, my studies took a hit. It was in my 2nd year of college I decided that I want to pursue Mba. However, I failed to get a good score in CAT. At the age of 22, failure was new and I hadn't experienced it in a long time, I got depressed.

After a few weeks I decided to not give up. The next exam was exactly 7 months away and I knew I will have to manage studies along with business, with new determination and past experience I started my preparation again.

And finally 9 months later, I scored over 93 percentile and got into one of the top 20 schools of the country. I realized you only loose when you give up on your dreams.
