Why Aditya Birla Group Is Big In Your Life:

A vision becomes a milestone when it touches millions of lives every single day.

Aditya Birla group touches millions in the world. It is unlikely that we have not used its product, be it the freshwrap in our lunch boxes or the apparels in our closet, be it the telecom operators like Idea or the cement used in most of our houses: Ultra Tech Cement. Aditya Birla has undoubtedly made its mark in various sectors like telecom, textile, FMCG and apparels ~ not just in India but in 34 other countries.

It is "Taking India to the world."

It had touched my life in the real sense when it carried out the campaign like "LetsBePeopleFirst " in November 2018 for People, where it tries to unveil gender-based issues that hinder a person's prospect in the society. It tried to remove the social stigma attached to our behavior, which revolves around gender. Another one which is very close to me is "Drop the tags" campaign from liva on the occasion of women's day to empower women by dropping the tags which society has given them and coming up with their tags which matters them the most. In Jan2019, Aditya Birla Health Insurance launched “Game of choices” campaign(an advertising campaign)that urges people to evaluate their health goals in the quest for success. This campaign provokes people into realizing how they tend to neglect their health when faced with a choice between their life goals.

These campaigns stand against the dogmas prevailing in the society which people generally don't address. And with such a global conglomerate campaigning about them, it has undoubtedly touched many lives.

How I have made an impact?

I feel "success is directly proportional to the number of lives we have touched. "It gives a sense of accomplishment or will make us feel like we have made an impact when we come out of our comfort space to help those in need or to contribute to society in any possible way. It gives an immense feeling of satisfaction within ourselves. In my last year of college, I felt that sense of accomplishment when I helped my housekeeper lady by giving tuitions to her differently-abled daughter(unable to walk~ lame). I was very moved with her dedication and passion that after all the difficulties in her life, she wanted to study, and her mother was supporting her. Generally, in lower class families in India, such incidents don't happen, where parents are giving their full support to their daughter to study. The main problem they were facing was a tutor, who can provide home tuitions to her (a. as she won't be able to attend normal tuitions due to her disability b. she was unable to afford money for home tuitions). I instantly told her that I would teach her. Earlier, my parents were not convinced with this idea of me giving home tuitions. They were reluctant of me going to my housekeeper's house, but somehow I managed. I taught her for about two months, and she came out with flying colors. It gave me immense pleasure while seeing her marks (more than I felt by seeing mine). I felt proud of myself because I was able to help her despite the difficulties. I still cannot forget the reactions of both the daughter and mother while seeing the results, and I will always carry those humble words they said about me, which gives me confidence. I feel that no success could have granted me that feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction.
