Challenge, Cambridge dictionary defines the challenge as " (the situation of being faced with) something that needs great mental or physical effort in order to be done successfully and therefore tests a person's ability. The challenge which came to my mind fulfills the definition in every aspect. I was gifted with the challenge just 6 days after the year 2019 started. It changed a lot for me, it changed my category from fit to physically disabled, I met an accident which fractured my right tibial condyle. It happened just the day after CAT results while I was on my way to my home after taking XAT. I don't have a lot of memory of rest of the day. I remember opening my eyes and finding my parents looking worriedly at me. I had so much planned for me, I have to start applying for the colleges I was eligible for but my priorities changed. Now, I have to deal with the pain of the accident and the surgery which followed it. That's what I did for next month and meanwhile I started applying as soon as I could think of anything else.
It was now almost two months since my accident. I was called to Delhi for a couple of my college interviews. My physician told me not to leave the bed let alone leaving the town but I did. I did not want to waste my year just to avoid some pain and inconvenience. My Perseverance was all I had to count on. I completed the interviews and got selected in every single of them. Now I can cycle for 70Km as a hobby. Life was and will be full of challenges it will help all of us to grow, and see what are our boundaries and check how much further can we stretch it. Waiting for my next one.....
