Amritash Bharadwaj: Best 50 | India's Most Promising Incoming MBA Students 2025 | IIM Bangalore

Amritash Bharadwaj is an MBA candidate and Merit Scholar at IIM Bangalore. Over 45 months at AB InBev, he became the youngest manager in the company's history, leading strategy, process-excellence, and analytics projects across geographies that delivered multi-million-dollar revenue uplifts, operational savings, and product innovations. A dual-degree graduate of IIT Kharagpur in Agricultural and Food Engineering and Engineering Entrepreneurship, he completed internships at EY, Startup India, ZestMoney, and AB InBev. He has represented India at the Harvard Conference, served as Placement Coordinator at IIT Kharagpur, founded its 180 Degrees Consulting chapter, and received the institute's Best Outgoing All-Rounder award.

Within 45 days of joining IIM Bangalore, Amritash won national titles and secured PPOs/PPIs from Tata Administrative Services, Nestle, and Coca-Cola, competing against thousands across India. TAS Invictas tested strategic vision, Nestle Leaders League focused on market penetration, and Coca-Cola Mantra evaluated supply-chain acumen. The competitions required him to master new domains quickly, collaborate with high-performing peers, and present solutions to senior leadership.

At AB InBev's Global Capability Centre in India, Amritash progressed to become the company's youngest manager. He led strategy, process-excellence, and analytics projects across multiple geographies, designing market strategies, improving operations, driving product innovation, and managing relationships with global and zonal CXOs. The work delivered multi-million-dollar revenue uplifts, operational savings, and customer-experience improvements.

What sets him apart is a track record of excelling across academics, corporate impact, and leadership. He converted the holy trinity of IIMs A, B, and C and was recognised for top performance in the admission process, earning the highest merit scholarship at IIM Bangalore and a shortlist for the Aditya Birla Scholarship. Within two months of joining, he also won national titles from Tata Administrative Services, Nestl, and Coca-Cola. Professionally, he became the youngest manager in AB InBevs history, leading strategy, process excellence, and analytics initiatives across geographies that delivered multi-million dollar impact. At IIT Kharagpur, he earned a dual degree, served as Placement Coordinator, founded the 180 Degrees Consulting chapter, and was honoured with the Best Outgoing All-Rounder award. This combination of academic achievement, rapid execution, and leadership in diverse arenas enables him to contribute uniquely among his MBA peers.

He brings a combination of strategic problem-solving, operational execution, and cross-cultural leadership that enables him to create impact from day one. At AB InBev, he led projects in strategy, process excellence, and analytics across multiple geographies, delivering measurable revenue growth, cost savings, and product innovations. These roles required breaking down complex problems, building consensus among diverse stakeholders, and executing initiatives in high-pressure environments. Growing up in remote towns taught him resilience, adaptability, and resourcefulness, qualities that have helped him excel in unfamiliar contexts. His leadership roles at IIT Kharagpur and IIM Bangalore strengthened his ability to mobilise and inspire teams, while national competition wins honed his capacity to quickly master new industries and deliver under tight deadlines. He pairs analytical rigour with creative thinking and clear communication, ensuring solutions are both effective and actionable. This blend of skills, experiences, and mindset positions him to thrive in dynamic, fast-changing business landscapes.

Growing up in remote locations with limited access to quality education, Amritash saw that strong ideas also need clear communication to travel further. He is working on storytelling and executive presence so he can influence diverse stakeholders more effectively. By structuring narratives more clearly, adapting to different audiences, and explaining complex ideas simply, he aims to secure buy-in and lead change in multicultural, high-stakes environments.

Amritash grew up in remote towns with limited access to quality education and exposure. The experience developed his resilience, self-reliance, and drive to make the most of each opportunity. His journey has since taken him through global immersions at AB InBev, a leadership role as the company's youngest manager, the Harvard Conference, and the founding of the 180 Degrees Consulting chapter at IIT Kharagpur. Alongside his professional work, he has led in sports and cultural arenas as a powerlifting captain, badminton champion, and vocalist.
