GIM Brings TEDx Talks For The First Time In Goa

An idea can change your life. We all believe in this aphorism, don’t we? So, if AN idea can change your life, imagine what 6 of them would do. That’s what happened at TEDx GIM on the 5th of this July. 4 TEDx Talks, 2 TED talks and an audience of 100. It was a sight to behold in the Institute Meneza Perenez, Panaji. Here, for the first time in the history of Goa, a TEDx event was organized. The students of Goa Institute of Management left no stone unturned in kicking off this legacy. IIM Shillong Khlur-Thma’14 ended on a high note

Alongside the Golf Cup, organising Khlur-Thma – the Annual Management Fest of IIM Shillong – was a daunting task but the student fraternity of IIM Shillong made this a memorable and an enjoyable experience. The two day extravaganza held in October 2014 saw the confluence of renowned industry leaders, academicians and students exchanging ideas on myriad of business facets.

'IFIM Kanyathon 2015' – Annual 5 K Charity Run

IFIM in association with OXFAM India & S.A.F.E supports the cause to Save the Girl Child Bangalore, 8th March 2015 – IFIM Business School Bangalore, in association with OXFAM India & S.A.F.E (Students Against Female Exploitation), an organisation formed by the students of IFIM, is going to conduct a charity run for the cause: 'Save the Girl Child’ on 8th March Sunday morning at State Central Library Campus, Cubbon Park. The run will be flagged off at 6 30 am. The Guest of Honour is Mr.Ananth Kumar, Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers and international paralympic swimmer Sharath Gayakwad will also be present. Kanyathon 2015 is one of its kind event as it is a fundraiser for a good cause being organized by students themselves, who promote social responsibility.

Potpourri – The literary and debating club of IIM Udaipur is hosting The Udaipur LeapDay Litfest 2015, IIMU’s annual B-school literature festival in its Udaipur campus. This is the third such edition of the event, and is slated on the 28th of February this year, as every year.

Chakravyuh'15 at IMT Ghaziabad

“Chakravyuh” the word itself brings forth the reminiscence of the antiquated war zone situation of Indian history. This term evokes the sense of wild rivalry, boldness and grandeur. At IMT Ghaziabad, Chakravyuh, the annual sports festival is no less than the war zone it symbolizes and has rightly built its reputation as the Olympics of B-schools in India. This event is being held as a custom since 1993 as a part of the 22 years old legacy of IMT to keep the sporting spirit alive. It has never failed to amaze the participants with its inexplicable splendor every year. The 23rd edition of this 72 hour non-stop sporting extravaganza is scheduled to be held from February 12, 2015 to February 15, 2015. This event would kick off with a four kilometer marathon on the roads of Ghaziabad tending to a social cause of “Road Safety” as a part of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) of the event.
