Hope Lies In Dreams, And The Future Belongs To Those Who Trust The Beauty Of Their Dreams - IIFT Delhi
My association with the Aditya Birla group has started in my childhood itself unknowingly when my mom used to wrap my food with Freshwrapp aluminium foil to keep the food hot and healthy. Knowingly, it happened when our house was under construction. We suggested ‘X’ cement brand as it was a bit cheaper but the engineer, the supervisor, and even the masons insisted us to use Ultra Tech cement, that much trust it had gained among the players of the construction business and it is priceless. It always thrives to protect that trust, belief, and faith.
Growing Up With Birla | Mohammed Rafi, IIFT
I was very young when I heard of the word “Birla” for the first time. My grandfather would often use the term “Tata-Birla” to relate to rich, royal families. As I grew up, I became familiar with the term, as I started becoming a consumer through the brand of Louis Philippe which I desired much to my first Idea Sim Card. ABG has undoubtedly become an indispensable part of my life. My emotional connect with ABG is my father’s Louis Philippe shirt which he bought 23 years ago. I treasure the shirt in his reminiscence. Though the white shirt has lost its lustre, the buttons and stitches remain intact, along with the memories it carries. At this juncture, it is important to point that a product so dear could not solely be due to itself, but also the story of the product’s origin as well. However, beyond the personal front, the 3rdlargest conglomerate in India has made us proud by becoming No. 1 in rolled aluminium, carbon black, and their strong foothold in the textile industry. ABGs involvement in the insurance sector and of course, Idea, the telecom wing, is a star on their lapel. Birla has effectively contributed to the development of our country, being stalwarts of the Private sector. Their presence is massive such that we have a sense of national belonging when it comes to “Birla”

Why Aditya Birla is big to my life:
My First Real Shopping Mall Experience - Shivani Somani - NMIMS Mumbai
When I even begin to ponder on this question, I remember my first real ‘shopping mall’ experience at the Pantaloons outlet in Nagpur. I was a curious but shy teenager, visiting a relative. At my hometown of Chandrapur, shopping went beyond just clothes or groceries. It meant relationships with local retailers. These retailers would precisely know what kind of apparel we would prefer and which size would fit us that year. So, when I visited Pantaloons, I was highly doubtful whether that experience would be as personal. Moreover, I was overwhelmed by the presence of the brands that I had only seen in ads. The salesperson realized my situation and immediately attended me with wonderful suggestions. I distinctly remember buying my first ‘branded’ jeans by Forever 21. Little did I know that I would stick by the brand till today! A few years later, when my hometown witnessed a highly celebrated inauguration of the Planet Fashion store, I could only contain my excitement on purchasing a Peter England shirt for my father on his birthday. In fact, when I mentioned this to the store owner, not only was he courteous enough to gift wrap the shirt beautifully, he also attached a greeting card to it. The card carried the logo (… and the legacy!) of the ADITYA BIRLA GROUP. Today, when I think about the group, I think about so many events in my life and how, in its own sweet way, it has been there – the maa-ke-haath-ka-khaana at lunchtime wrapped in Freshwrapp, my first job interview in a crisp Allen Solly shirt, the long-distance phone calls at home on the Vodafone Idea network and now, the elegant Van Huesen blazer suit that I wear at my b-school. So, what is the importance of ABG in my life? IT IS BIG!

Using Your Strengths To Overcome The Obstacles In Life - Ananya Sachar, NMIMS Mumbai
During my first week of college in July 2014, I was perplexed. I kept asking myself, “Why is everyone being nice to me?” It was a question which weighed on my mind for a few weeks until I realized that in a social environment, people are generally polite and respectful to each other. This was not the reality that I had lived in for the past 2 years.
