How do you know if MBA is right for you?
L: WAT & GD: The topic was related to Indian villages and their contribution to Indian economy. Same topic for both WAT as well as GD. (can't remember the exact words) My Performance: WAT: Was able to do well in both as had the same WAT topic in IIFT. GD: For discussion, we had around 10 people in the group and it went on for 12 minutes. Didn't turn into a fish market. Spoke 4 times. Gave points of rural electrification and technical reforms to bring modernization in villages.
Do you know how many students are open to taking up entrepreneurship immediately on graduation in the graduating class of 2017? Which domain do you think is the most popular among aspirants and 1st years and how does that preference change once they are in the 2nd year?

I joined GMP with an open mind without any corporate exposure or full-time work experience. I had some vague idea about MBA life, but it appeared that fortune had lots to offer. We generally hear that MBA from a reputed institute is hectic, rigorous and will test your hardiness but GMP has been different. When we came for the interviews, seniors stressed on the fact that GMP is going to be rigorous but as they say, sometimes it is difficult to understand things until you experience it. Same happened with me and maybe with folks around me. The journey started with a lot of anticipation about what is going to happen within during the next 6-7 months but it got shattered once the program began.
