The first cluster of the Final Placement process for the PGP class of 2016 was held today at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. The firms that participated in Cluster 1 comprised of three cohorts – investment banking and markets; management consulting and private equity, venture capital and hedge funds.

Leading corporate across India participated in the placement process which successfully completed with students placed across various functions of their choice. The class of 2016 with a total of 333 students 237 from PGPM program, 61 from PGP Human resource management and 35 from PGP International management, is a diverse batch in terms of gender, academic background, culture and work experience. The average CTC across the 3 flagship courses saw a 13% increase over the previous year with the highest domestic CTC offered increasing by a remarkable 27.5% to INR 32.1 LPA. 106 students received Pre-Placement Offers either from their summer internship organizations or through various B-school competitions.
IIM Trichy shortlist is out now. Some of you will have done really well to get the call. We thought it would be a great opportunity to meet the soon-to-be senior batch at IIM Trichy to ask them about tips to prepare for WAT/PI and quiz them about Life at IIM Trichy.
A Panel discussion was hosted by SJMSOM – IIT Bombay on 13th of February 2016. The topic of the discussion was “Start-up India - How can the future entrepreneurs benefit from it”.
