Completing countless assignments and projects, brainstorming on competitive case studies, and gearing up for the exams, that’s the usual routine of students at any management institute. But all of this was put on halt for one of the first major festivals of the academic year in the IIM Shillong campus this past week, the annual Janmashtami celebrations.
My connection with TISS is a bit older than any of my classmates here in TISS HRM &LR. I had appeared for TISSNET 2017 and came to the Mumbai campus for GD and PI in March 2017.
‘U’ is the best thing that has ever happened to me. ‘U’ is unique in its own way. ‘U’ is the place which is my home for two years. The place where I travelled in June, 2017 is now what I call is my 2nd home. It’s has been a year staying in this one of the biggest IIM campuses and yet I still remember the feeling which I was struck with the sight of the beautiful campus of ‘U’. IIM Udaipur is surrounded by hills, the campus itself is on the hill.

Two months into MBA are sufficient to change an early bird to an owl. In the first week itself, I remember going to a Yoga session at 6 am after completing an assignment and eagerly waiting for a 5 minute of “Shavasana”. There have been many such nights till now, and many more to come.
