The long wait and excitement for me and 32 others across India started building when L’Oréal offered us summer internship. This excitement was further built on by regular introductions and interactions with other interns on L’Oréal Careers Facebook page. As we got to know each other’s likes, hobbies and favorite superheroes among other attributes, the day arrived when we landed up in luxurious hotels in the city of dreams- Mumbai.
The third term, easily the most gruelling term of the first year at IIM-V was completed. We were half management graduates! But there was no time to enjoy or relax. We had to start our internships immediately after the exams. We were all very excited.
The game app you played last night the phone you chatted to your friend on even the chair you sat on all come from the study of technology. The designing making and production of all these things come from people with a technological background. So it makes sense if you want to contribute to this ongoing exciting field then studying a technology course is the way forward. So what is technology? It is the combination of skills techniques and a variety of processes that gets an idea into production and then sees it come to fruition. It is exciting cutting edge and there is no limit.
