On 28 November, 2015, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade hosted The Grand Alumni Reunion in IIFT Delhi campus. It is a day which is close to the hearts of alumni, as it is a reminiscence of their moments at IIFT. The alumna took time out of their busy schedule and flew all the way to IIFT from different parts of the world.
Alliance University had concluded their Final Placements for the Batch of 2013-15, achieving a commendable 94% placements this season. This year saw a considerable rise in the number of recruiting partners aggregating a total 1800+ opportunities across diversified fields and sectors. Marketing. as a specialization saw the highest recruitment amongst other areas like Human Resources, Finance and Operations.
This Friday I took a ride with Uber in Mumbai, & got talking with the driver. This is what I learnt from him about the Uber Business Model in the 20 minutes I spent with him:

Coming from the North East, the journey to Harihar was a long one for me. It gave me a lot of time to think about how things were going to be here and whether I would be able to manage on my own. I was quite nervous, to be honest, and came to the campus with a lot of anticipation. It has been five months since then and I can comfortably say that I have found my second home.
