It was at the end of July or the beginning of August that I finally decided to attempt the CAT. Had internal exams lined up in mid-August, after which I would start my CAT Prep. I decided to do self-preparation and availed IMS mocks (SIMCATS) and purchased the CAT PYQ's book by ARIHANT. Starting the prep around August end / September, I solved CAT PYQs, IMS mocks (full length and sectionals) and searched on YT if I had a doubt in any topic.

Since I had merely 2 months of prep time (September and October), solving entire books was not feasible, plus the university semester exams almost clashing with CAT in November meant the only source for good short-term practice was mocks and PYQ. I still remember how my last theory exam paper was scheduled 2 days before CAT and my last viva being held 2 days before NMAT.
Cut to the results:
- CAT: 99.28 %ile (99.32/97.66/96.46 sectionals)
- NMAT: 261 marks (roughly 99.8 %ile)
- SNAP: ~ 99.96 %ile (47.5 marks)
