This year, the 467 strong batch at IIM Calcutta received a total of 520 offers, and a total of 172 recruiters participated in the final placement process including top brands like McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Goldman Sachs, Kotak, HUL, Nestle, P&G, amongst many others. This year, the average of the top-5 percent of salaries offered stood at a whopping 63.7 lakhs, while the overall average for the batch stood at 29.28 lakhs. Cluster 1 saw 33 recruiters rolling out 143 offers across cohorts like Asset Management, Investment Banking & Markets, Private Equity & Venture Capital, Management & Advisory Consulting among others. Students bagged offers from top Investment Banking and Private Equity firms including Avendus Capital, Credit Suisse, D. E. Shaw, Goldman Sachs, and Kotak.
