Aditya Birla Group, one of the successful conglomerates, was ideated, transformed, and blossomed on the Indian soil. Aditya Birla Group has transcended the borders of mother India and has made its mark on the global economy. Aditya Birla Group is known as India’s first multinational company. The Group has contributed immensely to economic and technological growth of India. The group’s pioneer Ghanshyam Das Birla, popularly known as GD Birla, was very active in India’s independence movement. He was very close to Mahatma Gandhi and Birla house was at the center stage of India’s freedom struggle. This bespeaks the Birla family’s love towards motherland. Aditya Birla Group’s strong ties with the nation and value system really inspires me.

The Group’s presence in various business sectors is testimony to the leadership of the Birla family. It’s not just presence in the diverse sectors but excellence achieved in each of these sector inspires me the most. The group is present in as diverse sectors as heavy industries, retail, communications as well as finance. Meticulous planning, strong business sense backed by the Birla family’s value system has made the group successful in each of its diverse business vertical.
India was portrayed as the country of poor by the western world till the dawn of 21st century. British rule of 150 years had broken our confidence.
