Anish’s journey began at the National Institute of Technology Calicut, where he earned his degree in Chemical Engineering. A natural problem-solver, he always sought to understand not just how systems worked, but how they could work better. His technological inclination and creative curiosity took him to the South Zone finals of the Tata Crucible Hackathon, where he learned early that innovation thrives at the intersection of logic and imagination.
After graduation, Anish joined IQVIA as a Software Developer, where he worked across multiple verticals and continents. The experience gave him a front-row view of how technology drives healthcare operations globally. It also sparked his decision to pursue management — to complement his technical grounding with a strategic understanding of business decisions.
At IIM Indore, Anish found the perfect platform to merge his analytical training with creative execution. As a member of the IT & Systems team for the institute’s flagship fests, IRIS and i5, he helped design and deploy digital platforms that improved event management efficiency and engagement. His ability to apply classroom learning in practical, collaborative settings soon set him apart.
During his summer internship at American Express, Anish worked as an Analyst, where he quickly adapted to new technologies and unfamiliar contexts. Despite having limited prior exposure to machine learning, he took the initiative to upskill, mastered the essentials, and successfully delivered a project that drew recognition from senior leaders. Around the same time, he also secured a Top-50 national rank in the “Summer of Product” competition organized by HelloPM — a testament to his structured thinking and ability to design user-centric solutions.
Among his most meaningful professional experiences, Anish counts his live consulting project with the Government of Madhya Pradesh. Chosen among 15 students from a pool of 580, he worked on enhancing record management systems at the Itarsi District Court. The challenge involved designing a solution simple enough for daily use by employees with limited technical expertise. The team’s scalable and intuitive framework earned appreciation from officials and was integrated into the state’s Record Case Management System (RCMS). Recognizing their struggle to adapt, Anish voluntarily took on mentoring duties while managing his own workload. He conducted one-on-one sessions, created a two-week standardized training program, and authored a comprehensive guidebook for future recruits. These efforts not only ensured project completion on schedule but also improved overall team efficiency by 17% in the following quarter.
