MDI Gurgaon saw an overall of 85 companies participating in this Summer Placement Season. The average stipend at MDI Gurgaon jumped to INR 2,31,000, a significant rise of 10% over last year, with the highest stipend being INR 3,20,000. 83% of students got INR 2,00,000 and above as stipend for the entire duration.
Other highlights as per the MDI Placement Report :
- Median stipend of top 10% of the batch of MDI reached INR 3,10,000.
- 47% of offers came from Sales and Marketing, followed by 21% in Finance, 14% in Strategy, 7% in General Management, 7% in Operations and 4% in IT/ITes.
- Investment Banking roles were offered by the likes of Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Langham Capital and Nomura.
- Many leading healthcare companies like Abbott, Cipla, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Fresenius Medical Care, GSK Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Johnson & Johnson, Thermo Fisher Scientific, UnitedHealth Group and Sanofi recruited from campus.
- New recruiters included Acuvon Consulting, Adani Group, Amazon, Boston Consulting Group, Compass Group, Diageo, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Everest Group, GFB Great Foods Pvt. Ltd., Google, Grofers, Hindustan Unilever Ltd., Honeywell, Johnson & Johnson, Jubilant FoodWorks, Korn Ferry, Lenovo, Michael Page, Nestlé, Next Education, Ola, PhonePe, PwC India, Reckitt Benckiser, Sanofi, Sony Pictures Networks, Tata Global Beverages Ltd., Thermo Fisher Scientific, Titan and United Health Group.
