Meet Rajeev Kumra - Professor At IIM Lucknow & InsideIIM Professor of The Year In 2021
Professor Rajeev Kumra is a professor of Marketing at IIM Lucknow, an institute he's been associated with for over a decade. He is currently working as the Dean of IIM Lucknow's Noida campus, and has previously been the Chairperson for Placements at IIM Lucknow. Professor Kumra has also been a visiting faculty at IIM Jammu where he was voted the 'Best Faculty at IIM Jammu.' He has also been a visiting faculty at IIM Indore, IIM Shillong, and IIM Rohtak. Professor Kumra holds a PhD in Marketing, as well as an MBA.
Aspiring to bring in a practical application to management education, Professor Kumra launched an elective course titled, “Applied Marketing Strategy”, which has become one of the most popular courses now at the IIMs. His students posit faith in his teaching philosophy by showering him for past eight years in row with “Best Faculty at IIM Lucknow” award, and now with the title of 'Professor of The Year' in 2021.
