Friends, future managers and fellow B-Schoolers… put on your thinking caps (and your monkey caps!) because Transcend, the annual management and cultural fest of SIBM Pune, is back with a Bang!
And this year, the 25th anniversary of Transcend, it’s bigger and better than ever, with the introduction of SIBM Pune’s maiden sports festival – Gravitas.
Transcend, a confluence of diverse events that provides a platform to bring out the best in business minds, and in tune with every cultural facet of the individual, is an opportunity no B-schooler would wish to miss.
This new year, SIBM Pune presents B-schools all over India the opportunity to visit the scenic hills of Lavale and feel the adrenaline rush that comes from competing with India’s top talent in extremely challenging events… all while immersed in the fun environment of the campus.
Post the grueling days filled with business-based challenges, evenings at Transcend are power-packed – with cultural events such as Group Dance, Battle of Bands, Stage Play, War of DJs, and Fashion Show.
Our fest aims to enhance diversity, bring various colleges and B- schools into dialogue, promote creativity and nurture college pride.
We have a series of intense competitions for the brave-hearted:
Last Man Standing (LMS), the pinnacle of Transcend ’15, is the flagship event of SIBM Pune. LMS aims to test the manager, negotiator, human, authoritarian and the parliamentarian in you. This gruelling expedition for glory, spanning 72 hours, will demand every ounce of wit, guts and grit that you possess. Tread cautiously!
Strategia, another flagship event, is a one-of-its-kind Business Strategy competition that gives you the chance to unleash the strategist in you; to break the barriers of monotony and bring out the novelty that sets you apart from the herd.
MarketShastra will challenge participants to a gamut of events that covers topics across the various realms of marketing. Take on the country’s best marketing minds and prove your worth in India’s biggest marketing challenge. Master the science of marketing, be the modern day Chanakya.
Transcend in its 25th year will witness a sanguinary battle between the best of future Managers, in the form of OpStrat. The Operations team of SIBM Pune presents OpStrat – Evolving Excellence, a platform on which the think-tanks of top notch B-Schools may prove their competitive spirit.
PRoelio is a new entrant to the bouquet of management-oriented events at Transcend. In three phases, PRoelio will test your skills at three important aspects of Public Relations: optimally utilising social media for free publicity; cool-headed analysis of how to respond to a PR disaster; and of course, implementing that response when under pressure.
