A Journey Built Through Doing, Not Just Studying

Vedant is someone who learns best by doing. Before joining JBIMS, he had already explored operations, finance, and marketing through diverse roles and ventures. His decision-making has always been driven by curiosity rather than conventional boundaries. From analyzing credit risk during his internship at ICICI Bank, to digitizing operations at a local retail firm, to assisting traditional businesses in adopting online systems, Vedant sought environments where learning happens through action.

He has also balanced academic progress with personal exploration. Vedant has traveled to over 35 cities, meeting people from varied backgrounds and observing how markets, behaviors, and decisions shift across regions. For him, every journey is a case study and every interaction is a lesson. This mindset forms the foundation of his approach to business and problem-solving.

Turning an Idea Into Revenue: The Dropshipping Venture

Among all his experiences, Vedant is most proud of the dropshipping venture he built during a live project. Over three months, his team generated 1.52 lakhs in revenue and reached over 3 lakh people organically on Instagram. The venture also won third place in the competition.

This achievement was meaningful to him not because of the revenue or recognition alone, but because it was his first practical experience of taking an idea to execution. He worked on product sourcing, pricing strategies, digital marketing, customer engagement, and brand communication. It was a complete hands-on process, where every mistake had a consequence and every creative experiment had data to measure.

The experience taught him that business is not limited to planning but thrives in execution. It gave him a sense of confidence that given the right learning attitude, tools, and teamwork, he could convert concepts into outcomes in the real market.

Strengths Rooted in Mindset and Character

Vedant’s strengths are not simply visible in titles or metrics, but in how he navigates people and pressure.

He brings emotional intelligence to teamwork, allowing him to understand perspectives, resolve differences, and communicate with clarity. His curiosity pushes him to explore and connect ideas across finance, design, and marketing. And his resilience has been proven repeatedly, especially while managing academic preparation, live business projects, and multiple work commitments simultaneously.

These traits guide how he works in teams and leads himself through high-pressure situations.

Adaptability in an AI-Augmented Business Landscape

In today’s world, adaptability is a critical skill. Vedant stands out because he learns new tools quickly and applies them in practical settings. Whether running targeted ads, creating designs on Figma, analyzing data through Tableau, or using creative platforms like Midjourney, he focuses on understanding how technology can be used to solve real problems.

This ability to combine digital tools with strategic thinking makes him employable in roles where market agility and problem-solving are essential.

Character in Action: A Quiet Commitment to Giving Back

Vedant’s values are reflected in small but consistent acts. Since school, he has been supporting children affected by HIV through fundraising, supply collection drives, and awareness efforts. He has volunteered in tree plantation campaigns, spending weekends planting and nurturing saplings, and also spends time at cow shelters helping with animal care. For him, selflessness is not defined by scale but by intent doing the right thing without looking for attention or reward.
