My happiness was at its pinnacle the day I converted Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. This news meant even more to me as it was the only positive thing that had happened to me since I started my Civil Services preparation 2 years back. But the happiness turned out to be transient when the TISS final result was announced and I came to know that I had got in. Happiness soon got taken over by the confusion and the pressure to make the “right decision”.
Getting selected to the TISS HRM batch of 2020-22 became bittersweet as I was happy to be shortlisted for such a prestigious institute with a small batch size of 68 but.... Yes, there was a “but”: a big decision was confronting me: Which one to choose? For those who haven’t faced a similar situation, let me tell you! There is only one thing worse than not getting selected to a prestigious institution: It is getting selected in two and making the wrong choice. I was cognizant of this fact and hence, I decided to tread carefully through it.
