Talking about the challenges faced in life while trying to achieve my ambitions, my ambition was to pursue my MBA and the challenge that came across was my job! There were many challenges associated with my job that I faced during the preparation for MBA entrance exams. First and the most tiring was travelling for 3hrs a day in crowded Mumbai locals that would drain the energy out of me and turn me into a vegetable by the end of the day and of course the vegetable couldn’t study after that. So, I changed my sleep pattern, I woke up early to study and being tired helped me in sleeping early. Another major challenge was “on-call support” where my project expected me to be available 24*7 to work whenever there was a major or high priority incident. It was on rotational basis but since my team size was small, every once in three weeks I was on-call. There were times when I would get a call just after falling asleep and the incident would go on till the next day. I have spent some sleepless nights and also a few sleepless days. I couldn’t attend tuitions as I was expected to be available during weekends for on-calls. This majorly affected my studies. However, I did not give up. I told myself to work harder for a few months then I would get the results that my hard-work deserves. When I couldn’t complete my sleep, I would solve a problem or two during my breaks or whenever I found time in between other tasks. I continued this and now I am here, pursuing my ambition.
