ADITYA BIRLA GROUP – Impact on my life.
I come from a western U.P town known as Hathras, which is about 50 Kms from Agra, 40 from Mathura and 30 from Aligarh. I grew up in a village; not a typical Indian village, but still a village. I come from a family which is financially stable but there were people I knew and whom I grew up watching who were not so stable. The reason I am stating this is because I have seen these people turn their lives gradually and through hard-work and I have seen this all from up close. I have seen them transform their houses from simple huts to cemented homes. In other words, I have seen them build their dreams and Ultratech by Aditya Birla Group has been their dream builder. The success story of these people, which apparently the world will never know, was made successful by Ultratech Cement. It gave them and others around them hope, hope that yes dreams can be built and built to last forever. Hope that we all can have a better future. Hope that we as a nation are growing and are growing good. Their stories have impacted me deeply and will remain with me for life time. Another ABG impact on my life has been the positive change it brought to the society with the help of the Idea network. The Idea network proved to me that yes thinking differently helps to extend your journey and make it more happening and hence I am a true believer of the fact “An Idea Can Change Your Life”.
How have I made an Impact?
I have not been much of an achiever yet in my life and thus I have this Zeal in me to overcome all the challenges I get. And through whatever little I have learnt in the amazing 21 years I have lived so far; the most important lesson has been this – I never lose… I never lose, either I win or I learn. These words summarize my attitude and nature almost to the fullest. My impact, I think, has been limited to myself and which has helped me to grow as a person and more importantly as a human. It has prepared me to be willing to go out and add on to the lives of other humans, maybe one at a time and maybe just small impacts. It has made me a person to be willing to do things to make this world a better and a happier place to live in. This is just the start to my story, a story which has a lot do still. I always cherish meeting new people and become a happy part of their stories and ask them to do the same with other people as well. This is my idea of a better world, an important impact we need on this world and a better society which we all deserve with no compromises. I look forward to have a greater positive impact every day on the lives of people I meet and I will continue to do so.
