Aditya Birla Group – a 165 year old Indian Multinational Conglomerate was founded by Seth Shiv Narayan Birla in 1857. It operates in 35 countries with more than 120,000 employees worldwide. The group has interests in viscose staple fibre, metals, cement (largest in India), viscose filament yarn, branded apparel, carbonblack, chemicals, fertilisers, insulators, financial services, telecom, BPO and IT services.
Through their branded apparel, Pantaloons and telecom services, Idea Cellular (now Vodafone Idea) they have become a part of my daily life. Needless to say Pantaloons offers variety of clothes for men, women and children at affordable prices. I personally like their collections, it is kind of classy and fashionable that too at reasonable prices because which I get to keep on updating my wardrobe. And, not to forget Idea cellular services has been best in the market. As far as my memory goes never I have faced issues such as call drop and also the internet speed has been good.
Not only mine Aditya Birla Group has played a big role in lives of many people. Through the Corporate Social Responsibility they have been focusing on health-care, education, the girl child, sustainable livelihood, women empowerment projects, infrastructure and espousing social reform.
And not to forget by working with the Government schemes they have in some or the other way have impacted my life too.
