A US $44.3 billion corporation, the Aditya Birla Group is active in 14 industry sectors and has achieved global and national leadership in several businesses.
Aditya Birla Group an Indian Company which is in Fortune 500, today with operations across 35 countries has made the people of India proud. More than a remarkable journey it has come through, from 1857 in village of Pilani, Rajasthan to be a global leader in all the sectors it operates today.
Why Aditya Birla Group is big in my life, there is not just a single reason there is a bunch full of reasons for this. Coming from a middle class family in India from childhood I always used to hear from my parents that Aditya Birla group is the finest and best in industries for its quality of clothes, my father always buys clothes from Allen Solly and by seeing him do so, when I grew up as an adult is also did the same buying clothes from Louis Philippe, VanHeusen and Allen Solly. On my view the trust, faith and believe that Aditya Birla group has created in India is on next level and is unmatched in all the sectors it operates. For a middle-class family in India the biggest dream is to build his own house, as my father always believed in Aditya Birla group so do I, he opted for Ultratech cement to build our house in Bhubaneswar. Recently Bhubaneswar was badly affected by Cyclone Fani, many houses were destroyed across Puri and Bhubaneswar, but over and above there was not a single damage to our house, it was all because of Ultratech cement which saved us from a terrific Cyclone. Hats off to Aditya Birla Group, you people are helping all of us in many ways, a thank you won’t just suffice How Important you are to me, to all Indians. Proud of Nation “Aditya Birla Group” – Standing with people of India since 1857.

How I overcame challenges to achieve my ambitions in life so far, My story involves coming out of my comfort zone and constantly taking up new challenges in life. Life is about making an impact not making an income. For almost 18 years from my childhood I stayed with my parents, in same town, same friends in Angul. I decided to take up my graduation from a different city Bhubaneswar, it was a very hard decision on my part, how could I manage to stay away from my parents for about 4 years. All sorts of things where coming to mind, but finally I can say that I was able to become independent adult from a dependent school going boy in those 4 years. After completion of my B.Tech, I got placed in Accenture. I moved to Bangalore was it was my work location, then it was a big change, be it emotionally, financially, mentally or in terms of responsibilities to handle myself entering to a corporate world. I started enjoying the work culture at Accenture, new environment, new people, new opportunities. Everything was going fine, but still I wanted to purse a Post Graduate degree as it was my childhood dreams. It was difficult to prepare for higher studies as I had spent 9 hours from Monday to Friday working in Office, I would get only weekends to study for. I would see people around me enjoying on weekends, but I was determined enough to back myself to achieve my dream. Finally, after all hassle going through many entrance exams, PI, GD and all. I got a call from NMIMS for PGDM course at Bengaluru campus. I was then happy, celebrating with my friends and families. Dreams come true if you work hard towards it !!!!
It was just as “RISE ABOVE THE STORM AND YOU WILL FIND THE SUNSHINE”
